hey guys, pretty new to the forum, been looking through, seems a pretty good and friendly site, thought i would post a few pictures of my ep1 up

its my second car, first car was a mk3 polo, only been driving about 2 months so, im pretty happy with it as a second car

plans are a full ctr bodykit, powerflow exhaust, induction kit, leather seats, window tints, gloss black roof, new wheels, lowered (maybe) and carbon bonnet & spoiler, i do work quite slowly though so, dont except updates all the time

Looks good bu tget that black bar off the side!!!!!! and get Type R seats as well not just letaher seats

are they glued on or clipped?


is there anyway to make these a little bit faster aswell? except induction kit, manifold and exhuast? (i no they wont make a huge difference) i would rather go down the power route than style route, but its only a 1.4 so, what can i do?

are the bumpstrips glued on? cus im thinking of taking them off tomorrow

Im not sure, I guess there probably glued. However you may take it off and find its got a few plastic clips. If it does id sand it down get it painted, and do the handles at the same time. Makes a huge difference. If the bar is clipped on, it would be better to paint it than leave the holes. Not sure what you could do to make your car quicker. Maybe a turbo charger?? expensive but probobly best results?

Well to make it faster you could swap the engine with one from the EP2. Thats 18bhp right away.

Exhaust manifold
Cold air intake
decat exhaust
piggyback ecu
remove egr system

thats all i can think of right now without spending big bucks!

Yeh but if your going to do that, you may as well sell the EP1 and buy an EP2 it would work out cheaper i would have thought :/

yeah i realised it werent really gunna be any faster as its only a 1.4, ill stick with induction kit, exhaust n mani fold for now

Yeh, stick cosmetic, wastin money really on performance mods on a 1.4 . Make your car look and sound like it goes fast, cruisin car lol. Make it Type R replica, i did with my EP2
