when only fitting springs to any car your putting more stress on the oem shocks thus your probs going to have to get new ones in about a year and a halfish think that happened to jay mind u were tellen me somethin about your motor on springs and they went lol coilovers ftw :)

i saved for coilovers, the £100 or so you spend on the springs could go towards coilovers. thats how i see it.

you can do it on normal shocks but only a matter of time before they give way and break.

I have fitted uprated springs to all of my cars and have never has a problem with the shocks failing. The sportlines feel just as firm as the standard ones on my sport, so i don't think it should make too much of a difference. Only time will tell though. :) Fingers crossed! lol
Coilovers would me my prefered choice, but the springs were cheap and i am more than happy with the ride height and handling.

That sounds pretty reasonable...
May have to look into that if and when my dampers give up the ghost.

I've spent a bit more money today...
I've ordered my E-Tech Lightweight aluminium strutbrace (Same as LeeCS). Hopefully i will have it delivered friday, and with my JDM wind deflectors in the post and my car booked in to have a custom Powerflow exhaust fitted saturday morning, she should be looking, feeling and sounding better by the time this weekend is up.
Can't wait! :) lol

No, i'm afraid they are not pukka JDM deflectors, they look realy good though. The guy i'm getting them from has a set on his EP3. I just hope he doesn't rip me off... I saw them on E-bay and he supposedly sent them on friday, but nothing has arrived as of yet. :)

where did you get them from?

i need some new ones as one of my heko ones broke and i never have windows open no more cos of the gale force wind you get without the deflectors.

I know you can get Heco ones on e-bay for about £20 + p&p.
I think i have been done over... I just tried to email the guy about my set, and he doesn't have an e-bay account any more.
They'll better turn up or i'll be royally pissed off... Grrr!...
