I had a years tax for my birthday at £210

Was meant to be going up to £300 this month but becaquse of the credit cruch and that the goverment decided not to bother.

I knew it was i just couldnt find the info on direct.gov website as they have obviously changed it now becuase of the u-turn.

I wasnt looking forward to the £300 tax, As i was about to pay it for mine, This month should it have been put into practice.

No doubt next year we will get the hike.

keep forgetting to bring my insurance and mot stuff into work, think its gonna have to go on the big CC (Credit Card!)

FINALLY GOT IT TAXED!

Went to get all my documents, Insurance note and MOT to take to the Post Office.

Found my Insurance but i couldn't find the MOT!!! I searched and searched but i just couldn't find it, i ended up going to a MOT garage and getting them to print me a new one out!! cost me £10.

Got to the Post Office, gave her all my stuff and she filled out the required bits and then it came to pay for it!!
Due to paying for my holiday the day before i had about £50 left in my current account so i thought ill use my Credit Card (which i almost never use!).

Big que of people behind me, woman says, sorry you cant pay on a credit card! I said ya joking!
Your only allowed to pay by cash or debit card.

So i had to leave all the stuff behind the counter at the Post Office and run round to my bank, Put my Credit Card into the whole in the wall thing and it said you will be charge for withdrawing funds! thought stuff that and went inside.

Said to the girl, basically i need £120 in my hand now to pay for the tax!

Due to only having £50 in the bank and having a good banking record she put a 1 week temporary overdraft on my card! i could then go withdraw the £120 and go back to the Post Office and pay!!

Been paid my wages now so im out of the red!

What a ball ache it was! Took almost 3 hours to get it all sorted!

as stated earlier in the post it wouldnt let him.

what a ball ache indeed all post offices have a queue, i do it online, every year. if not then i have a big savings acount i can use

i have the MOT locked away with everything else now! aint going to lose it again!!!!
