Hey hey,

I want some tints done on my windows, I want the fronts done in light smoke, and the rear three in medium smoke, how much should i look to be paying? and where shall i go to get them done?

dont mind traveling a bit if its a good price and will be a good finish! plus im in bedford area alot due to visiting santa pod regularly lol!

Anyone know anywhere? or how much i should be paying (know f*ck all about tints)

For all the windows i got mine for £120 with a sunstrip. However that was quite cheap, yourlooking at around £100-£150. However its not thst hard if you have a heat gun and a bit of patience. If you spend the time you can get it just as good yourself. Ive done it now and its just as good , Ive done many mates cars. Just buy some film off

I got my rear 3 done for £100, I think that's about the going rate

thats why im asking where to go, as everywhere in norwich is coming in at £250 which is way more than i want to pay!

One guy has said about £150 the lot, but he's mobile and ill have to pay £20 fuel costs for him to come to me as he's miles away!

Got all round tints for £100 and they came to my door..

Alright i got you a qoute in norfolk. Its £150. Ive copied the email they replyed below:

I'm pretty sure any front windows are illegal to tint and fail mot ?

its not illegal to tint the front two, they just have to be very light tint, which is why im having the lightest grade possible put on!

wont fail an MOT for it though unless they have a light meter to test with which none do lol and if i get pulled by the police ill remove em!

1-2 tint wont touch the front windows though, i asked them before, and there WAY expensive lol

Thinking the guy in thetford is the best bet so far, but might see if any traders are doing deals at shows in the summer!

Check the link at the bottom; these guys who were recommended to me did a fantastic job and no airbubbles looks well smart, they charged me £120 for front and back three.

i had light tint at front and one grade down from limo black on the back three.

These guys are probably the best people to go to in Brum.

Average price in brum is £90 - £140.

For all 5 windows I would expect to pay around the £150 mark..

Im hoping there might be a show special at the PTM show at the pod in may, so will wait and see, remember seeing someone there for USC!

After seeing these prices it makes me realise just how cheap a tinting place in Newport was for my friends EP2.
He got his 3 rear windows tinted for £80 I believe it was.

You can get the back 3 windows done for £75 all in.. mind you its bit of a travel from where you are.. its in wickford between chelmsford and southend..
