okay so whats my options?

ive read that EP3 and EP2 are the same in the rear which expands my search a little.

do i buy new or 2nd hand and where do i get them from.

how much should i expect to pay?

side note:

took my car to the garage and said my rear brakes dont work i think its the calipers and they said it was the disks and pads. paid them £150 for new disks and pads so got them installed and put it back in twice and now they're saying i need new calipers.

what should i do?

Thanks for any advice.

Get oem calipers from the scrappy.
If it's good enough for the EP3, i'm sure it's more than good enough for an ep2

We all know honda are rip off merchants!

That's not bad, they usually go around 80-120 for a pair of calipers anyway mate

did you even try to clean it up? bolt off, clean it up, respray, refluid and bolt on back. that's it!

Just out of curiosity what was wrong with your original calipers?

I changed my discs and pads recently and mine needed a bit of work, the seal was twisted and the floating pins were seized as well. Total cost to fix is £0 if you have a set of sockets, a vice and a tub of copperslip.

Get some OEM EP3 calipers and holders and pads. Then buy some EBC discs (much cheaper than honda ones)

Probably going to cost around 500-600quid in parts and fitting, maybe less. But then you will have an awesome brake setup http://epcivic.com/f...tyle_emoticons/default/smile.gif
