HI all ive found a 1.6 civic sport in cosmic grey at my local honda garage its completlt standard apart from the tinted windows. They are asking £6,495 but am hoping to get it lower how much lower do you think they'll go i wanna pay roughly 6000 , any less would be a bonus, anything i should look for when haggling.
Also I have had a bank loan last payment was last month, i have a credit card which i havnt spent anything on and i have never missed a payment on anything in my life (im 23) but the bank i had a loan with declined me for a car loan. Also another company refused me aswell today but i dont know why as my credit history is good and my parents credit is good .....will i be declined at the garage for finance .

hi mate, what milage did the civic have on? seems a good price!

i was in the same boat, no bank wud give me a loan but i got finance through the garage with out a problem! dont attempt to get any more quotes for a loan cos this affects your credit history!

cheers dude the car has 43000 miles on it which isnt too bad i thought (but i have only ever owned 1 other car lol) and i stopped at 2 loan quotes cos i didnt want a bad credit history or too many "footprints" (as the bank says )on my name .

I got him down to 6000 with a years MOT and Service, 6 months tax ,asset protection, a years warranty with a years breakdown service too so not bad in my opinion.Deposit paid and pick her up on Monday ,jus gotta wait till monday now
