Id recommend 45 profile tyres, they fill the arch more and make a comfier ride.

I'll stick with 40 profile tyres as if i go up to 45 profile, the diameter will be bigger than stock and kill the acceleration.

I'd go for 40profile tyres... keeps the ratio and also looks better

17s with 45 tyres are exact same diameter as 16s with 55 tyres.

Also the EP2 has no accelaration to loose

Yes, but i'm getting wider tyres and wheels than standard, so i'll need lower profile to keep the diameter the same.
