slapping on a turbo

Are you able to slap a turbo on a ep2??? i want to do it when i get mine. but ive been told that you cant :S

yeah you can put a turbo on yr car! not as easy as slapping it on tho lol, would you be doing it yr self ? if so there will be a lot of cutting going on. will need aftermarket engine management, will have to make a return pipe from the turbo going to the sump etc it goes on and on lol, if you know the right people im sure you can get it done for the right price, there are some people on this site that have tryed and failed as it is not as easy as they think. good luck m8 :thumbup:

You can if you run it on low boost. However i would advise doing an inlet conversion first as i expect the standard one would melt :thumbup: hear is a link to a bolt on turbo kit for our cars.

so alot of work being done. i will have to research alot on it then =] i ave not got a ep2 just yet but im planning on getting one very soon. seen a standard one on autotrader. probably buy it. i want to put a turbo in it. that is why i was asking =] so i know. and i will know what to buy etc =]

as standard they are a great car the ride can be a bit bumpy at times. and they are not that slow its a well made car hope you get one then get some pics of it!! ;)

yea most definately lol. just looking for the best deal =] would like to start from standard and build up. put some rays wheels on and Type R body kit =] hopefully very soon like cause im getting fed up with my car its falling apart

if its too ard with a turbo. what would it be like installing a supercharger???

are you even able to supercharge a 1.6 vtec?

Yeah you could but its the same if not more work than a turbo Conv
