Hi,

I got the door card off but what do you do with the black lead at the top? I need to swap my door cards

black lead?.... explain a bit more.. i swapped mines over last night straight foward tbh..


window down
unscrew handle
remove black cover that is at the top left off door card where mirror is
pull out the way at the buttom
slide door card up the way out window chanel
unplug windows switch (+the locking button on drivers door card)
disconect wire thats attached to door handle

and jobs a good yen!

Sounds like you mean the door lever cable. you just unclip it, there's a brightly coloured clip on it (cant remember the actual colour) that you kinda rotate to clip off, once thats off you pull the cable up in the other direction and out the slot in the lever. kinda like a bicycle brake cable. http://epcivic.com/f...tyle_emoticons/default/smile.gif

Yeah you need to take it easy with those little clips. just a slight bit of pressure and it should come off, dont use tool or anything, just your hands. http://epcivic.com/f...tyle_emoticons/default/smile.gif
