Not a lot in it between the facelift sport ep2 v's ep3
Ep3 is lowered to 1425 mm, facelift sport ep2 1430 mm and non sport ep2 1440 mm.
Ep3 has uprated brakes and lower profile tyres

isnt the reduction in height in an ep3 due to the lower profilt tyres?

Pretty sure the body of the EP3 is fully seam welded as well, makes the car stiffer....

the front chasis of an ep3 is diffrent imo..

ive spotteed that the battery is on the other side so the chasis should defo be diffrent. also the subframe is diffrent?

I dunno http://epcivic.com/f...tyle_emoticons/default/icon_confused.gif but does it matter if battery is on different side as long as its earthed properly?

The battery has nothing to do with the chassis just the engine/electrical wiring loom i guess. Because the EP3's engine is the opposite way round from the EP2's... e.g. exhaust manifold at the rear of the engine bay and induction/fuel to the front.. EP2 Vice Versa.. So it just sits on a different engine mountings or something.
