Probably might want to consider a new clutch.

I just had a thought today how hard can it be, i have the inlet conversion and i also have a F1 stage 2 clutch and fadanza flywheel. i also have the piggyback ECU so all i would need is the parts for the turbo. was just woundering wether it was as easy as bolting it all on and mapping it. I have had a look at the costs and to buy it all indevidualy i am looking at around £1500. And as for fitting i would do that myself. It is by far the best way to get power out of our cars and it would sound sweeeeeeeeeeettt! Vooom Tushhhhh

If you have the knowledge, cash and time go for it  It would be nice to see & hear one (provided you would shoot video of it) :)

Well i will see how the inlet goes on first, if that is all working fine, then i might start collecting the bits, however i am planning on buying an S15 V-Spec  next year and using the EP2 as my run around so i dont think it will be worth it.

Don't you also need to alter the fuel rails and injectors too?

Everything else would be straight forward enough, the fuel rails and injectors i have no idea where to start

Already upgraded my injectors and fuel rail with my inlet conversion, using D16Y8 ported out to accept the D17A1 injectors the same as remould.

Then you really need a turbo, bov, intercooler, manifold to adapt turbo, custom exhaust, greddy emanage or apexi safc, and a remap, and that's you?

from everything that ive looked at and read about turbo'ing. The moneys in the map and ecu that you use. Good map= reliable car same as always, cheap or limiting ecu= BOOM.

Theres a couple of good ecu's that are compatible with our cars but they do cost the money's.

They sell the omex's ecu and are specialists in wiring them up

Bigger injectors than just the d17's would be needed when hitting boost. Your forcing alot of air into the engine at high pressure so youl need more fuel to make the ratio correct.

And to run higher boost forged internals (pistons/valve springs etc) are a must or you will melt your engine!
On standard internals with mega low boost i wouldnt imagine you would have any more than 170bhp
