Found a fair few kits for the ameican D17 engine which would also fit our cars. Maybe this might be the next thing i do after the inlet conversion :)

Wow that looks a very good price for a turbo kit

all you need on top of that is a greddy emanage kit and a remap

Reckon the installion would be easy enough by yourself? as it's all bolt on anyways

Well wouldnt say easy but should be pritty straight forward just the remap etc and the ecu install, would have to get someone else to do that. Serious gains for the money!

Kit - $1030

Shipping - $300

Import Tax @ 10% - $103

VAT (Kit+Shipping) at 17.5% - $232.75

Total = $1667.75 = £1109.42 ($1.503 = £1)

Plus fitting, chipping and mapping. Ouch!

But when it's all working - priceless :)

Hmm give me a shout about it, looks definately very good for the money,

The only thing is, will it need a different fuel rail or would the stock one be okay,

It wouldn't be too hard, it's really just a bit of messing around the oil lines, the manifold, turbo, intercooler would be straight forward enough.

The only thing your gna have to pay is dyno runs, a piggyback, and a remap

When you thinking of getting it?

Definatly alot cheaper than £4000 which has been the cost of previous turbo builds. I dont know just a thought at the moment but definatly a possibilty. Want to get my inlet conversion finished first :)

Its probably rather crap, its in america, and they use cable ties to mount an intercoler, which doesnt bode well.

HAve a look in this months PPC magazine, in Dave walkers rolling road bit he maps a civic with some american cam in it, and as soon as it moves over to it in vtec, it misfires, and he's quite open about his experiences with american tuning parts.
