ordered some springs for an ep4 cant wait to fit em got some new wheels on it now some finichi riminis!!! yes its a cat d. gunna get a mesh grill though

how is the engine, is it very noisy or is it ok "for a diesel" if you get me.

I would think about remapping it, you should be able to get it up to 130 bhp and bags more torque.

Apparrantly Celtic Tuning can get it to 140hp as standard, might be worth looking at them. That said even if it's not the quietest of diesels it does shift if you drive it right, 0-60 improvement would however be nice. 58mpg cruising at 66mph on the motorway with 2 bikes on the towbar is priceless though, thats better economy than I get day to day unloaded!

But before you even go near a tuners get everything else running properly first - full service including tappits, clean everything (fuel lines and turbo esp) and have it the best it can be otherwise you're wasting your time and money.

And take a look at the air inlet pipe behind the engine, what colour is it? Some retard has decided (on my model anyway) that black was an excellent colour for cool charged air, mmmm heatsoak! going to polish it up when I get the time, will make the bay look a bit better as well...

Nah, it's a nationwide company

http://www.celtictun...uk/Default.aspx

There are tuners all over the place, unfortunately most appear to be HDI/ VAG specialists as they are better for tuning.

My tuppence worth would be to avoid Celtis and just drive to RS Tuning in wakefield, do a proper Dyno tune for £400.

My ep4 has a mesh grille...and thats totally standard nice to see another one about.
Mines looking a bit tatty at the moment, scraped the sideskirt in a carpark :(

That said saying about it being standard, Ive got 17's for it that I had on in summer, and I got stopped of a policeman thinking it was a sporty one, then I pointed out its the same engine as his astra.
Stopped me twice in 3 days, 2nd time he apologised :D

Look forward to seeing the car further on.

hi

everything from front rear bumpers and side skirts front and rear red honda badge is bolt on except the rear spoiler you only need to cut the two side bolts cases because the Type R has to more bolts to secure the spoiler than the ep1/2/4 but is easy : )
