do the Type R springs fit a sport?

Even if they would it wouldn't do you any good. The CTR springs have different spring rates as they are made for the heavier car (EP3). Bottom line, the CTR springs will make your Sport sit funny (front high probably) and they won't be in balance properly.
If you want to lower your Sport, get dedicated lowering springs from Eibach, Spax, etc.

yea i no that, just most springs are advertised as Type R springs

Aye well if you're thinking of putting on aftermarket springs advertised for EP2/EP3 then you should be alright. I don't recommend putting on OEM EP3 springs though.

Somebody correct me if I'm talking sh*t. :sick:

The springs have different rates to compensate for the K20 engine in the Type R being heavier than the D16 in the EP2. Therefore making the front of your car sit high.

Eibach Sportlines are the most commonly used 50 mm springs for the EP2

D2 camber Arms Part: D2-1-3 D2

Then get yourself a fast road setup, and you should be sorted.

i have tein coilovers then you can set it to what ever you like

i have just had my EP3 lowered 35mm on Eibach from ABP Motorsport & sits perfectly any more lower & it wil scrape like f**k!!! myn was £160 delivered next day
