Just make sure you don't drop the bolts http://epcivic.com/f...tyle_emoticons/default/wink.gif and be aware your hands will probably take a battering!!

That's quite a good guide there.
I'll be removing mine to put the standard one back in at the weekend, so if I remember I'll take some pictures and write up a how-to

It is simple. When you do it once, you can do it again... again... again... juggling the headunit in and out probably 15 times like me for different reasonsMe and some friends are going to attempt this next week. Just need to wait for J4RED to get back to me so i can buy his harness adaptor. Thats the only thing I need
I will post some picturesseems simple enough...*touch wood*

The only thing you might struggle with are the two bolts that hold the top console piece. In my car they'd been tightened over-happily from the factory. Thanks to that, cut my hands ~4 times when getting them loose. When you put the console back together don't overtighten the bolts! Easier for yourself the next time you crack it open

Yeah i was thinking "how hard can it be!" Just remove a few things, plug it in, and hey presto!
I just didnt know what to expect

The dashboard adaptor thing we need for aftermarket head units, we only need one of them right?

Depending on what headunit you've got you may need an aerial adapter aswel. Alpine's do. Not sure about any others
