hi there,
is there anyone that made this type of conversion? I want to make a evo front and rear brembo calipers to my ep3 type-r. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know how much work is involved in the transfer, but they look amazing!

i think they are possible since dc5 has brembos on the front. The only thing is that to buy dc5 front calipers it costs around £500 or more and with that money you can buy front and rear brembos. The thing is, are the front evo brembos are of the same dimesions of the dc5?
And what sort of work needs to be done? do you think i can leave factory disc brakes?

I don't think even DC5 brembos are a straight swap. It depends what model of Evo you got them from as I know some have much larger brakes than others, none of them are a straight swap.

And no you wouldn't be able to use the standard discs or pads as they would be to small for the larger calipers

Front discs are the same as the dc5 300m and evo's disc are 320mm but i think with a bit of work they should do, also evo's has the same pcd as the hondas so its on my favour. The rear's will be a bit hard to make i think since evo's discs are 300mm and mine are 260mm. I was trying to find someone that made this kind of conversion. Anyone knows someone? And anyone knows a cheap set of brembo calipers possibly evo(front and rear) or dc5's front?

The standard callipers on the EP3 are perfectly good bits of kit; upgraded pads, discs, lines and fluid will give you a very good hike in braking power without all the expense and hassle of doing a conversion.

Though if your determined to get Brembos then they do actually make full brake kits (multi-piston callipers, discs, lines) designed specifically for the EP3 (as to AP, Tar-Ox etc etc etc)

A friend of mine has evo 9 calipers and porsche discs on the front of his Type R at the mo. They look insane but the smallest wheels he can fit are 18" as nothing smaller will fit over them! He obviously had to have custom brakets made for them. What info is needed?
