I recently decated my EP2 and the engine light came on, tryed many diffrent ways of getting rid of the light and finaly i have. Its called the V2 chip and you can get them on  from america for 41 deliverd. rather than the buddy club version wich costs around 70. realy easy to wire in and after 30 miles of driving the engine light will go off. i have had the chip for a while now and the engine light hasent come on since. Just make sure if you do order one it is the V2 model and not the V1 as our civics have a heat sensor as well as the O2 sensor built into one. so you will need the chip with the heat simulator aswell. If anyone needs any help i will post up a stage by stage guide of how to fit one, however it is realy simple and the chip comes with all the info you need.

Would it not be cheaper and easier to get a manual o2 simulator like this!

Would clearing the code with a diagnostics tool not do the job?

just wandering is this celfix still working ok for your motor? ya aint had any times where its popped back on again??

my light has come on, if i was to always drive with the light still on would it damage the engine in anyways or does it just take a little power out of it? does it definately put it into a low power mode because it still seems nippy enough!!

No you shouldnt loose any power and you wont harm your car but if you have any other problems with your engine you wont know because your engine light will already be on. For the sack of £40 its better to be safe than sorry, plus the chip is a performance enhancing one anyway, every little helps http://epcivic.com/f...tyle_emoticons/default/icon_thumbup.gif
