Oh My :o dude....I heard about this on facebook through someone having a conversation about how sad it was and it never for one moment clicked it was actually you off the site.

It was a absolute inspiring build thread. My thots go out to you and hopefully things turn out not soo bad.

As for scavengers who are trying to ''dipps'' a carbon tailgate....£550! £450 for the tailgate and a £100 just for the cheek of doing it in your thread at a time like this!

As horrible as it is to see... makes me glad to see Honda's engineering of the chassis has done its job protecting you mate.

Seriously awesome car, very inspirational.

And Toddy is right, its not the car its the driver, stereotypes do run, but its the way they portray us as a stereotype too, if we flare our cars up a bit, these stereotypical snobbish executive saloon types usually react negatively.
BMW drivers with the orange Oakleys and Bluetooth headsets all moved onto lary Benzes after they got bored of the hot Audis. Again, a stereotype.

I mean just check out my avatar, both parties in harmony!!

There are just some dozey bastards out there who make you wonder how they passed their test. Even in these expensive cars.

I hope they have got that BMW on camera in the motorway network, there are usually cameras at every junction?

Again, beautiful machine mate, sad to see it end up like that.

it took me three days to read this thread from start to finish and it was very informative. it's a shame it had to end this way, but hey, you aren't hurt and that is what matters after all isn't it!

just read your thread, impressed. if it makes you feel any better here s my tale. Sourced what was the lowest mileage ep2 in the uk at the time, 18000 miler, flew the length of the country from london to inverness with a mate, drove it 10 hours home lol. Had a 1000£ 1/2 respray on it, was mint. Had a £350 service 2 months later someone pulled out in front of me at a junction, i swerved missed them and flipped it, they drove off. Survived, got an insurance payout, and did the decent thing. Next week went and bought another one lol from manchester. Now sorted it with carbon wing, refurbed Type R wheels and a few other things. This one had done 26000, is going in for a £2500 respray at the end of the month - fcuk ep3 - i love my 1.6er haha, good luck mate. P.s the pic is of the first one after being sprayed - R.I.P

tadaa for now :)
