sub ground wire

i set up my new sub yesterday, but coming across a wee problem with the ground wire, where did yooz attach yours, ive been touching everything in the boot and ended up just attaching to the jack for the time being :shock: help please lol

Try and keep the ground as short as possible, I lifted my rear seat cushions and attached the wire to a bolt underneath the seats.

Sorry to bring up old threads but ive got the same problem, need to wire my amp. Had a look and found the strut bar in the boot, can this be used to ground the amp?

If not how do you lift up the rear seat cushions? I can't seem to get them lifted up.

You can use any point that is attached to the frame or shell of the car. Sand abit of the paint off so you get contact with the bare metal and you're good to go :shock:

There's a bolt in the middle of the rear seat. In between the backrest and buttrest :(

Was worried about not grounding it on the right bit...

I haven't got a clue what part you mean, but almost everything in the boot is attached to the chassis so unless you try to ground into plastic (or something) you should be alright.
