Got my spec 3 today, needs a good polish and clean but looks spot on otherwise.

going to go around asking a few places how much to get it fitted etc..

for Ash:
Did they know what needed doing straight away or did they have to fit it first to find out??
Also are the hangers in exactly the same place and everyhting?

Basically where the exhaust joins the original pipe work, the triangle end, its totally the wrong way so need chopping off and turning around, the bloke told me he had to shorten the hangers to lift the exhaust up, otherwise i would sit very close to the ground! don't know if this was Bullsh*t since the EP chassis are the same if not identical, and buddy club would make the hanging arms the correct length from the start!

so its not to short?? just the bit that fastens to the cat is the wrong way round?? i thought it was too short so needed extending??

hangers will be fine. i would be telling them not to touch any part of the BC exhaust as i would want to sell it at some point so need it leaving alone. and if i remember rightly it does sit low to the floor anyway. even on a ctr.

ah good, well they aint cutting or welding anything to the BC exhaust they will just have to make an extention piece of pipe that will fill the void so to speak.

shouldnt cost that much and should be a cheap job for one of the exhaust places to do.

will find out today if i get up early enough.

should be on end of week http://epcivic.com/f...tyle_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif more noise to annoy people with lol.

And its fitted!! £50 and 1hr later extention piece welded up and stuck on the car!

They couldnt beleive how loud or light the exhaust system was.

no hangers needed moving or anything straight fit apart from the foot extention thats needed.

ill try and jack the car up when its dry to get a pic.

Also got a free bung off them if i get sick of the noise.

Pics to follow!
