Hi, I just bought an EP2 civic and been driving it for a few days now and the Engine light came on, but the engine runs fine and smells a bit rich because i think its compensating for the lean mixture. Im an apprentice mechanic and have access to the tools. So i scan the vehicle and found a fuel system lean fault code. I watched the fuel trims and lambda reading. Lambda seems fine but the fuel trims are on positive about 15.7. I have checked for intake leaks i did find any leak. the car also have aftermarket intake, Im thinking about looking at the fuel pressure and possibly the pump as they are intank fuel filter.
Any suggestions that could help me cheers.
