Hi guys, those of you who know me from the other forums will know I am currently building a 5-600 hp Rotrex powered EP3.

For a bit of background, I have owned the CTR from new and it will be 5 years old this year, in that time I have clocked up 125K miles !!, I have had it in various states of tune running it completely standard for 2 years then adding K100, Tanabe catback and AEM CAI, I then added a Toda racing catback, then finally I added a JRSC running 9 psi of boost.

Now that was all going cool until I developed a nasty rattle which has subsequently been diagnosed as a knackered big end bearing :D

To remedy the situation I decided that I needed a built engine and wanted more power, something the JRSC did not offer (I was running about 285 whp) so a large Rotrex seemded the best way forward.

Firstly out came the engine, which incidentally I did myself on my driveway in 2 days !!

Front bumper is off !!

Remove clutch cable and gear selector

Supercharger is next

Now we got some room wiring loom is next

Posted Image

After some carefull axle stand adjustment the beast is free !!

Posted Image

Looks a bit emptier now !!

Posted Image

Time to strip that head !!

At last the first site of the action area http://epcivic.com/f...tyle_emoticons/default/laugh.gif :D

Head is off, now time for sump, crank case and oil pump to come off. I had managed to drop the pre facelift flywheel on my toe by this point and an x-ray confirmed a little toe broke in two places :D

9) BDL 70mm throttle body

12) New S2000 oil pump conversion (rev to 11k !!)

13) New timing chain/guides/tensioner

14) New water pump

15) Fidanza flywheel + stage 3 clutch

16) AEM fuel rail

It could work, or is your intake at the rear of the engine bay ??

Also can you get programmable ecu's for your car.

Diffuser money will finish the project off, I am getting a complete respray and have bought some Rota 18" Rota Subzero's which are going to be powder coated in white, got a Mugen front and rear spoiler to go on as well, this should look awesome.
