What's the story with square plates?? I know they're on bikes and imports but why can't we put them on uk spec cars?? :(

Not that, its because the lettering is smaller than standard and in italic.

Car looks good but polishing it was a pain. I used wax before and it was a lote easier to apply and looks better. The polish bought up a lot of stone chips

A vid of my mate driving the car just with the induction kit. Really happy with the tone but problem is the car sounds a lot faster than it is lol Damn 1.4
I hope he lifted off as he was going past me cause it didnt seem very fast...

Hopefully going to get some HID's off a friend at the end of the week but still undecided whether to go 6000K or 8000K.

Things always seem to go from bad to worse. This morning I was late for a lecture, on top of that someone took my parking space so I had to go and park at a pay and display and while I was rushing to park I kerbed my newly painted wheels :)

It was some non branded stuff that was lying in the garage for ages, My dad said it was expensive but im not that convinced lol It was hard to put on. Didnt wax the car, didnt have enough time will do next time though instead of polishing because the paint looked 10x better waxed last time.

Just done this today:

Nah already black. EP1 interior really is no frills. Dont have the chrome heater bits, chrome gaiter surround, chrome handbrake button or the silver lock button and handles

Just fitted the footwell lighting kit

Only comes on when you open the door though, havent figured out how to make it work with the interior light switch yet. When your free could you send me a pic of the plug you used Barnsey?

Also took the c/f stickers off, looked a bit rice and was peeling round the edges. If i had money to burn i would get genuine carbon fibre handles made though.

they look good and to wire it into the interior switch u would need to run a wire from the light in the roof. as the doors/key being pulled out etc are the switch for the footwell lights atm.

there is no constant power like there is in the roof, would be hard to do imo.

mine only work with the doors and when i open the car. the switch does nothing.

look good blue 8-)

like the black dash too

Have to say that this is one of the nicest EP1s I've ever seen. The condition of the car is a credit to your hard work and I've always liked Corona gold (sounds like a beer, eh?) The black wheel combination really sets it off, as does the flush rear bumper with no apparent exhaust extrusion visible.
What are your next mods for it, M8?

Thanks man, glad someone noticed the exhaust lol! I sprayed it satin black. Apart from a smaller ariel and HID's im kinda stuck for ideas at the moment for immediate mods. Maybe if I can find a facelift 5rd civic id take the speedo dials, rear disk brakes and id like to have black leather seats eventually...
