Boot lid doesn't want to open anymore :s

Anyone ever had this issue or know how to fix it? Really beginning to annoy me as I'm having to go inside and pull the back seats forward to put stuff in the boot

I've tried opening it with the key but still it doesn't work, I can hear the lock unlocking and locking but still the can't seem to open the actual boot

Any help/advice appreciated! thanks!

Press it down while squeezing the handle and see if shaking it will release it. Could be a problem with the lock itself but in most cases its down to build up of greasy dirt that cloggs it all up. Just needs a clean and an oiling and it'll usually be fine. :)

lock the car with imobiliser, make sure boot lid latch is pushed back, then unlock with imobiliser then pull latch forward...

i have this problem with the latch but this technique always works
