Bought prosports for the ep2, there are two metal brackets that sit on top of the front shocks, are two of them meant to be fitted or just the one?

Are you sure? because on illustration image the narrow one goes first and then the wide one

Old post, hopefully you figured it out. But for anyone reading this thread, the coilovers include two separate top hats for different strut mount bearings between years. Pre-03 models used the thinner hat and Post-03 models used the thicker hat. You need to remove one of those hats to correct your suspension geometry.
